Dr. Vimala Lewis is an alumnus of the prestigious Fr. Muller’s Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Mangalore, India. She graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor Degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. Thereafter she worked at a Government Homeopathic Centre in Udupi, India for a brief period before joining her alma mater as a tutor for Homeopathic Materia Medica, where she worked for 2 years. She was assigned duties to the outpatient department of the hospital at the same time. Later on she started her own private consultancy in her hometown and practiced homeopathy for a couple of years.
Since the past 10 years, she has practiced in Dubai and handles both acute and chronic health conditions. Her areas of interest include acute and chronic respiratory allergies, skin ailments, menopause/ menstrual irregularities and related complaints, joint disorders/ arthritis, digestive complaints/irritable bowel syndrome, headaches/migraines etc. She also treats depression, mood disorders, anxiety neurosis etc. with homeopathic medicines and supplements. In children’s ailments, preventive homeopathic treatment is also suggested to build up and strengthen the body’s defenses against common childhood diseases.
As a classic homeopath she specializes in prescribing individualized homeopathic medicines. She is currently pursuing a course on €œPredictive Homeopathy € from Mumbai, India and applies these principles in daily practice. She is a member of the Indian Institute of Homeopathic Physicians (IIHP) €“ Dubai chapter and Indian Homeopathic Medical Association (IHMA). She regularly attends and updates herself with recent advances and scientific methods of treatment options in Homeopathy. She joined the Dubai Herbal and Treatment Centre in October 2014.
Dr. Vimala is currently specializing in a fellowship course in Homeopathic Dermatology, due to her keen interest in treating skin cases like dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, Acne, Urticarial, hair and nail disorders etc. with positive outcomes in treatment with homeopathic medicines. Additionally she has completed a refresher course in General Practice in Homeopathy recently in order to bring about innovative treatment procedures to her patients.

Dr. Eram Mohd Shaikh is an established and highly skilled General Practitioner with strong focus towards Integrative Medicine. Being born and brought up in Dubai, she graduated from one of the leading universities in UAE and was trained in multiple hospitals across the Emirates such as, Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi and Al Baraha Hospital in Dubai.
Dr. Eram’s clinical interest are diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure, thyroid dysfunction, hypercholesterolemia, digestive diseases and urinary tract infection. Dr. Asha Jones has many years of broad practical experience in Ayurvedic medicine and treatment in India and in UAE. Since graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery from India’s highly reputed Government Ayurvedic College in Trivandrum, Kerala, Asha Jones has worked as a consultant in many of the country’s Ayurvedic hospitals and centres. She has been practicing in U A E since 2004. Jones joined Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre in 2011.
Jones have immense experience on identifying body constitution, Dosha or energy imbalances and prescribe traditional treatments, medicines & advices on diet to balance your Dosha. She follows traditional generic products of Ayurveda and focus in the treatment of: Spinal problems – Disc Prolapse, Spondylosis; Skin Diseases – Psoriasis & Eczema; Allergies & Asthma; Rheumatoid & Osteo Arthritis; Paralysis and other Neurological disorders; Stress Management, Migraine etc. She is also well experienced in weight reduction & obesity management.

Dr. Asha Rani is a DHA Licensed Ayurveda Practitioner and Colon Hydrotherapist. She joined Dubai Herbal and Treatment Centre in Feb 2004.
Her main focus is about Digestive system and gut functions specifically unique microbiome, rebuilding and regenerating the digestive systems and individual based Liver flush and Detox programs.
She is a renowned Colon hydro therapist in Dubai. Dr. Asha Rani qualified for her post-graduation in Colon Hydrotherapy from The National College of Colon Hydrotherapy U.K. in 2005. Lately she has blended Biological Medicine into her practice by attending Swiss Biological Medicine Academy in St Galen Switzerland and fully certified from Dr Thomas Rau in April 2019.
She also brings along 22 years of experience, practicing as an Ayurveda Practitioner in India and UAE. Asharani is graduated in Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Ayurveda medicine and surgery, as she brings the depth of her extensive training, years of practical experience and her many modalities of healing practices together with her nurturing ability to provide a specific advice and customized plan to each patient.

After graduating in 1992 as an allopathic physician from the University of Bonn, Germany, Dr Maria worked for three years in neurology and four years in psychiatry. She had extensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (acupuncture & herbal prescriptions). Furthermore she has a Master’s Degree in Preventive Medicine from Dresden International University. Dr Maria is licensed as a conventional and as a CAM physician. She is also trained in homoeopathy, naturopathy, and is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
Before joining The Dubai Herbal and Treatment Centre in December 2004, Dr Maria practiced a mixture of TCM, homoeopathy and anti-ageing treatments in her own clinic in Germany. She is a certified member
of the German Anti-Ageing Society (GSAAM) and of The German Society
of Preventive Medicine (DGP-Med). She has many years of experience
treating male and female infertility, and in the complex field of food intolerances and/or allergies.

Elena Naranjo De La Rubia is a goal oriented fitness expert with advanced knowledge of human anatomy and physiology focusing on detailed nutrition consultations and creating personalized meal plans. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical & Sports Nutrition from University of Isabel I de Castilla, Spain and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and Osteopathy from Castilla La Mancha University. Her core interest lies in food science, lifestyle modification and weight management.
As a health and wellness orator she analyzes her clients eating habits and outlines areas for improvement. She guides patients to embrace ideal lifestyle in order to witness changes to support wellness by developing meal plans as per their specific requirements.
Elena believes nutrition is a continuous journey and hence monitors her client’s progress and assesses the plans periodically recommending adjustments. She advises meal plans considering long term goals providing clients with balanced diets to promote future health benefits while catering to present needs in a systematic order.

Sandra Serrano Perez practices what she preaches, being an active women and regularly participating in sporting events herself she has channelized her passion into professional sphere with ease. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical & Sports Nutrition from the University of Isabel I de Castilla, Spain along with a Bachelors in Physiotherapy and Osteopathy from Castilla La Mancha.

With over 8 years of experience practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the United Arab Emirates, Shan Xu is highly passionate about functional and integrative medical approaches that honor the concept of holism, which is central to TCM.
Shan Xu graduated from the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China, after completing an intensive training from the Guang An Men hospital (2005 to 2006) which is the recognized as the foremost Chinese Medicine hospital in China. With this education, she not only received training in therapeutic acupuncture, but also received training in Chinese herbal medicine (decoction), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostics (consultations). Dr. Yuchao Zhong has a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He studied at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from 2001 to 2009. After graduating from university, he joined Chinese Military Hospital as an acupuncturist from 2009 to 2011. At the end of 2011, Dr. Zhong started practicing in Dubai.

Jing Zeng got the medical degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008 when she completed her 6 years studying at Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine University, China. Ever since then she has been working as a doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.During 2005-2007, Jing Zeng was selected to follow Acupuncture Master Dr Dong Hongtao (a reputed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in China) to learn acupuncture techniques. And during 2008-2010, she worked in the affiliated hospital of Guangxi TCM University. In the year 2010 she became a Member of The World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies, as well as relocating to Dubai to continue her profession. Yang Yang has been practicing medicine for almost 20 years. She obtained her medical bachelor degree from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000 and worked in Dalian hospital as a TCM doctor. She pursued further study at Dalian Medical University and was awarded a Masters degree 2010. She treats her patients using acupuncture therapy combined with cupping, Chinese herbs, moxibustion and lifestyle management to treat both physical and psychological problems, in order to promote health and wellbeing both spiritually and mentally.
Yang has focused her practice on digestive diseases including, constipation and support fertility. Besides other diseases she is specially trained on treating arthritis, all types of chronic pain and support diabetes & heart diseases.

Zhiyan Shi completed her Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2008 at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. During her Master’s Degree studies, she worked at the affiliated Foshan Chinese Medicine Hospital. From 2011 to 2015, she worked in the No.181 Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army. Her therapies include TCM consultation, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, tuina massage and ear point treatment. Zhiyan has focused on fertility support, rehabilitation, detox, acupressure, energy balancing, facial acupuncture by Acupuncture treatment and prescriptions of herbal teas (decoctions). From 2008 to 2015, Sandra worked in a polyclinic in Ciudad Real, Spain, where she gained experience in treating the following conditions:

Dr. Acharya has five decades of clinical experience and four decades in hospital administration. After seven years in the National Health Services (NHS, UK), Dr. Acharya held the position of Director of Primary Healthcare in the Department of Health & Medical Services, Government of Dubai from 1972 until 2002. During this period, he was also Head of the Dermatology Department and Liaison Officer for WHO. Upon completing his tenure at DOHMS, Dr. Acharya helped to establish the Dubai Herbal & Medical Centre (DHTC) as one of the first truly integrative medical centres in the UAE. From 2002 until 2010, he held the role of Medical Director at DHTC, while continuing to practice integrative dermatology.
In the last three years, from 2010, Dr. Acharya has been the Medical Director for a charitable general hospital in India. He specialises in clinical dermatology and practices energy healing in a holistic approach using advanced tachyon technologies.
